Art by Callie

Art by Callie I believe art should be fun. I paint whimsical, colorful, offbeat designs. My color palette is "Chaos".

I paint things that I love, so if my art makes you smile, I've done my job. I sell original paintings, prints and cards and take commissions.

Art in the Park was a great weekend! The weather was just about perfect. I visited and did videos for the Huachuca Art Association and posted them on their page. Due to the ongoing hamstring tendon issue that I've been dealing with, I will not be attending any markets until the Art festival at the Monastery in Saint David on December 5th. In the meantime, I've been busy with Christmas presents, so while it looks like I'm not doing anything, I am, I just can't post them. I'm getting ready to do my first cat commission too. I'm going to try to get back to a bunch of "smalls" for purchase as Christmas gifts.
Speaking of, I finally finished this whacky little tree. 4"x4", $35

Super fast sketch today, right before I ran out to teach the delightful donkeys at the Huachuca Art Association.
It's an idea for a Halloween painting, probably out at Racho Castillo Winery in Sonoita.
Any interest in doing this painting? Let me know

It's not too early to start gathering items for the annual yard sale!

Come get in the holiday spirit and create something festive for your tree or for that special someone. Please note this Artist Share is on a Saturday rather than the usual Thursday.

I don't really know how to paint horses, let along "half horses", but I'm giving them the old college try.

Bouncing between projects today. This weirdo has been perculating for a while, and I think I'm going to enter it in Tombstone craft show. I don't think it's done, but it's at the Tinkerbell stage.

Hey y'all, just wanted to drop that I have prints in both the Huachuca Art Association in Sierra Vista and Endeavor Art Gallery in Benson.
I have greeting cards in those places as well. Stock up because I don't know if I will be making any more.
