It's official...

The fair is over.

The grounds are quiet. The trailers are headed home. The barns are emptier. Half of us are sunburned, the other half are running on caffeine, ibuprofen, and about six hours of sleep... total. 🤣

For one week every year, these fairgrounds become the heart of our community. We laugh together, cheer together, dance together, eat way too much fair food, complain about the heat, and somehow miss it the second it's all over.

To everyone who came out, bought a ticket, showed an animal, volunteered, sponsored an event, worked a stand, cleaned a barn, or simply made memories with your family... thank you.

You are the reason this 140-year tradition is still alive.

Now if you'll excuse the Fair Board, we're going to spend the next few days trying to remember what our normal bedtime is... and figuring out what to do with all this free time.

Until next year, Cheyenne County.

Same dust.
Same friends.
Same traditions.
Maybe a little more sleep.

🔥 IT'S DEMO DERBY NIGHT! 🔥

The engines fire up and the flags drop at 7:00 PM for one of the biggest nights of the Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo!

Yes, it's going to be hot—but we've got you covered. Grab an ice-cold beer, soda, refreshing shaved ice, or one of the many other cool treats from our amazing vendors and enjoy an unforgettable night of crashing, smashing, and family fun.

🎟 Tickets are available now at the ticket office!
$20 per person, plus taxes and fees.

This is the final night of the fair, and we'd love to see the grandstands packed. Events like this only continue because our community shows up and supports them. If you enjoy having a hometown fair and rodeo, tonight is the night to come out, have some fun, and help keep this tradition alive.

🍽️ 12:00 PM – 4-H Appreciation Lunch
🏆 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM – 4-H & Open Class Exhibits Open to the Public
🎤 5:30 PM – Open Mic Night (Exhibit Building)
🎡 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Adrenaline Alley – $10 Wristbands
🍻 6:00 PM – Gates & Beer Garden Open
💥 7:00 PM – "Rumble on the Rails" Demolition Derby featuring Lawn Mower Races during intermission!

🎟️ Demolition Derby tickets are just $20 (plus taxes & fees) and are available at the ticket office or online.

🍺 Tonight's Beer Garden is proudly staffed by Safe At Home! Every tip they receive will be donated back to 4-H. Whether you're enjoying a cold drink or not, please stop by the Beer Barn and consider dropping a donation in the tip jar to support these amazing kids.

🐷🐮 And don't forget to stop by the 4-H Livestock Sale this morning! Whether you're a buyer or simply a community supporter, filling the Livestock Pavilion with people cheering on these exhibitors means the world to them. Your support helps recognize months of hard work, dedication, and responsibility.

Thanks to the Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office for mounting up tonight for the Chancey Williams and Midnight Rodeo concert. They've been looking forward to this day for a couple year's now and we finally made happen. Deputy Knappen and Deputy Nelson will be our mounted posse until around 8 pm tonight. Thank you to our 4H families Frerichs' and Thomas' for supplying the horses.

🤠 TONIGHT: CHANCEY WILLIAMS TAKES THE STAGE! 🎸🔥

Before one of country music's hottest acts hits the grandstand, spend the day enjoying everything the Cheyenne County Fair & Rodeo has to offer!

🐮 7:45 AM – Meet the Judge

🐄 9:00 AM – 4-H & FFA Beef Showmanship, Breeding Heifer Show, Bucket Calf Show, Stocker/Feeder Show, and Open Class Beef Show.

🏆 1:00 PM – 4-H/FFA Market Beef, Bred & Fed Show, followed by the always exciting Round Robin Showmanship.

🏛️ 12:00–9:00 PM – Explore the Exhibit Building featuring 4-H and Open Class exhibits, merchandise vendors, and all your favorite fair food!

🎯 5:00–9:00 PM – Adrenaline Alley is open! Take on the climbing wall, laser tag, mechanical bull, and bounce houses. Wristbands are just $10 and can be purchased at the Ticket Office next to the Grandstands.

🍻 6:00 PM – Gates and the Lazy S Ranch Beer Garden open.

🎶 7:00 PM – CHANCEY WILLIAMS with special guest Midnight Rodeo takes the stage for an unforgettable night of live country music!

🐐 9:00 PM – Keep the fun going with Goat Roping in the Beer Garden, sponsored by Finney's Ace Hardware! Spectators are FREE, and contestants can enter for a small fee with cash payouts to the winners.
