The Guild of Creative art is a non-profit organization dedicated to the visual arts. Members may participate in Guild shows and also rent the gallery space.
The Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in the visual arts through teaching, exhibits, workshops, and special events. Yvonne Aubert and the charter members wanted to foster creative camaraderie, to establish a meeting place where artists could connect. To this end, the gallery operates as a cooperative in which all members—General, Associate, and Exhibiting—volunte
er assistance and become involved in the Guild’s administration. It is managed by a President and a Board of Directors who are elected at an open annual meeting. The Board recommends policy, makes changes to the by-laws, and steers the organization as it seeks to improve its outreach to the community. The Guild offers a wide range of classes, workshops, and special events to its members, ages adult through teens. The instructors are some of the most outstanding artists in the area, and in a new “Celebrity” series, nationally known artists are invited to teach workshops. Twice a year the Guild holds a juried portfolio review for those general members who wish to apply for Associate or Exhibiting Artist status (see Membership link on our website). Exhibits change monthly, with receptions open to the public. All artwork is for sale.

Arcelio Brignoni recently joined the art guild. He is self-taught artist, born in the Bronx New York. he works with acrylics and oils; he is exploring different styles. His originals are reflections of past experiences and thoughts. He is the recipient of 1st place in award and best in show in the senior art show in Mercer County and 1st place in the state.
These two pieces, "My Readings" and "Girl with Violin"are on exhibit at the guild for the month of December.

The Guild of Creative Art presents “Playwrights Speak,” an event blending visual art and spoken word based on the art on display in the Guild of Creative Art’s 29th Annual Open Juried Show, this Sunday, October 24th from 3 pm to 5 pm. 99 works were selected out of over 200 by jurors Mary Jean Canziani, practicing artist and instructor, and Geanna Merola, a photo-based artist. It’s Throw Back Thursday! Our clients love to support the arts. In 2019 clients from Access Monmouth enjoyed a visit to the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury and in 2018 a few Access Ocean clients spent the afternoon at the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft.
