Happy 2nd Birthday to my sweet nephew Imani! 💛

We got to celebrate him today, and of course we had to bring some Happy Village fun along too. And there’s just something about a summer birthday at the park ☀️

Seeing him & Micah race down the coaster, splash for SO long 😅 at the water table, and slide down into the ball pit over and over made my heart so happy. Nothing over the top, just a few intentional details that gave the little ones plenty to enjoy while the grown-ups enjoyed the party too.

This is exactly why I love what we do!

We got to experience one of Alli’s Pilates classes yesterday, and now we’re even more excited for Mom Move & Play! 🤍

Her classes are welcoming, beginner-friendly, and such a refreshing way to move your body. We can’t wait for you to experience it while your little one enjoys the play area nearby.

Note: This event is designed with real motherhood in mind. If your little one wants to stay close, needs a snack break, or just isn't feeling independent that day, that's perfectly OKAY. There are no expectations here. Our team will be in the play area throughout the event, and you're always welcome to pause, check in, and rejoin whenever it feels right!! Your little one will be in sight the whole time 🙂

Wow… what a turnout! 🥹

Despite the heat, so many little ones (and their siblings!) stopped by to play. Some stayed for just a few minutes, while others didn’t want to leave—even after the fireworks started. 😂

The patriotic sensory bin by thrivinglittlesco was a huge hit with everyone—toddlers, big kids, and even parents! We are so grateful to have had her at our tent!

And the Step2 coaster? Let’s just say there were a few tears when it was finally time to go home 😅

It was so special seeing familiar faces from our pop-ups and the Arts & Brew Fest, along with so many new families who told us they found us through Facebook. Thank you for stopping by, playing, and saying hello! We loved seeing you all!

Moments like these remind us why we’re building Happy Village: to create fun, welcoming spaces where little ones can play and families can connect. We can’t wait to see you at the next one! 🫶🏼

Rain or shine, you’ll usually find us at the Library in Shrewsbury for storytime with Miss Katie on Tuesday mornings 📚

One of the things we love most is how welcoming and low-pressure it is. There’s no expectation that toddlers have to sit perfectly still for 30 minutes. And trust me this is very important for me & my almost 2 year old 😂

Micah loves exploring the books, watching storytime, joining in with the shaky eggs and songs, bubbles 🫧 and of course… visiting the dinosaur sidewalk on our way out. 🦕

That’s why we’re introducing ✨VILLAGE FINDS

Each month, we’ll share a few local events that genuinely caught our attention and align with the things we value most as moms.

When choosing what to feature, we ask ourselves:
• Is it family-friendly?
• Is it reasonably close by (about 20-25 minutes or less)?
• Is it a good fit for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers?
• Is it affordable, free, or clearly worth the investment?
• Is it something we’d attend ourselves?
• Does it support another wonderful local business, library, or organization?

If an event checks most of those boxes, there’s a good chance you’ll see it here :)

Because while we love creating opportunities for connection through Happy Village, we also believe in celebrating all the amazing people and places helping build a village for local families.
