STORYTIME!… Wednesday from 5-9, I’ll be performing at a free show downtown. It’ll be something different, perhaps grander, artsy-er. I’ll bring the drama, for sure. 🎭

You see, last year I entered Shreveport RegionalArtsCouncil’s Critical Mass performance competition for the second time and I won! So SRAC invited me back to bookend this year’s performance competition. It’s all going down at their HQ at 800 Crockett St! 🦴

Show up to see me tell a story or 2 through the art of drag. My drag brother Sammi Smooth will be joining me to bring his artistry to the stage as well! We’re first up so we hope to see you there. Stay tuned for a fantastic slate of local performers ranging from actors to singers. You may even see a few of my drag videos peppered into the showcase. 📽️

P.S. You can leave your wallet at the house for this show. In addition to free entry, I don’t expect to be snatching dollars this go around. Bring your tissues, though. 🥹

Next week it all comes FULL CIRCLE! 💫

Last year, your girl won the Critical Mass performance competition at SRAC! So on Wednesday 6/17, I’m bookending this year’s performances with 2 powerful numbers. Stay for the full show to see tons of other talented performers from many mediums. You’ll also see some of my best videos on the big screen at the event. This free show is downtown at Artstation (by the big dog statue) from 3-6 pm so even early birds are welcome! 👗🗽

On Friday, I’m returning to where it all began: Talent Night at Central Station! I’m planning to debut a Taylor Swift X Toy Story parody that I think you’ll LOVE! 🤠 🐑

🩷 Identity’s a spectrum. Love’s a switch.

❤️ Happy Pride Month to the highly visible, the erased, and everyone in between.

🧡 The bigots and hypocrites of our day have made our trans siblings the scapegoats of so many imagined issues and the distraction from so many problems they themselves created.

💛 This is nothing new. They’re using a crusty, dusty old history book as their playbook. Rather than arm themselves with information and communication, they choose misinformation and violence. And let’s be clear: intentional misinformation is a precursor to violence.

💚 We can combat this wave of hatred by drawing from a well of pride that our predecessors continually filled. Listen or lead, but whatever you’re called to do, love.

💙 To our bisexual babes who are too often belittled or doubted by capital G’s, you exist and you matter. You’re on our team and we’re on yours. Your current relationship (or crush) doesn’t define the entirety of your experience.

💜 Nonbinary pals who present femme or masc don’t owe you or our government a PowerPoint presentation about who they are.

🤎 May the only pressure you feel be the pressure to live your life to the fullest. Check on your friends, lean on them when your check engine light is on, support your community, and believe in our collective potential.

🖤 When in the darkness of doubt, flip the switch and exist in the light of love.
