🥎 ONE LAST LOOK AT FIRELAKE…

Before we close the book on an incredible day at the FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival Softball Tournament, we have to say something about these athletes.

They are TOUGH.

Temperatures climbed over 100°, the turf was blazing hot, and much of the day was spent in full Oklahoma sun. And still they pitched. They caught. They ran bases. They dove for balls. They swung hard. They cheered for their teammates. And then they went back out and did it again.

Anyone who thinks youth softball is “just a game” should spend a Saturday watching these young athletes compete.

The strength, determination and heart we saw through our lenses was pretty incredible. ❤️

To every athlete who took that field — you impressed us.

What an incredible week of softball! From diving catches and game-winning plays to big smiles and unforgettable celebrations, the 8U–12U athletes brought their hearts to every game.
