Unfortunately we blew up the motor in qualifying.

Practice went well. Ran some good laps. Got a little of my mojo back from last week.

And then it ended.

First night of our season - and it was tough.

Truck was tough to handle. With a list of new parts and pieces it was like I’d never raced the thing before.

It was a mess. I was a mess. But we left the night on a good note with some mentoring and advice from drivers and track officials.

The goal for next week is to simply improve. Race the track, not the cars.

#54 has great support from a list of sponsors - week 1 I’ll highlight a few that will surely keep me energized. Thank you
