Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Celebrate the day with some beautiful pottery by
The sheep mug was created from a photo I took in County Kerry, Kerry sheep at Gleesh Pier.
The second photo is a charming Irish American cottage.
The ornaments and plates depict the ‘Road to Annestown’, a scene familiar to me about 10 miles from her hometown in Ireland.
A lovely way to celebrate the day!

It’s been a busy week. I’m all set up now. The show starts today at noon and runs all weekend until 3pm on Sunday.

Apple pie or apple tart either one is delicious. My mum made a fabulous apple tart. Her apple tart was a signature desert to mark many celebrations in our home. One time we traveled to Arklow Pottery Co. Wicklow where mum bought a new pottery dish specifically to make her apple tart in.
I think that is my first memory of being in a pottery studio and I was mesmerized by the people working in clay.
I made this pie dish again this year, filling it with lovely memories.

I’m potter of the day today. My telltale tulip pattern has made a return this season from special orders to a new napkin holder. It is a happy return for me to work with this design that has given me so much joy and memories over the years.
