Be sure to check out Cast On Yarn Studio in beautiful Vermilion. Brenda's lovely shop is full of goodies. Be sure to try any of the nearby restaurants, and make a trip to the beach if you can.

Peg's Knit-n-Spin is a beautiful shop in historic Olmsted Falls! It's just a few minutes away from the Columbia Rd. exit off of I-480. Be sure you stop by and visit -- and go for lunch and a look at the falls!

As you crisscross your way through NE Ohio be sure to stop in at Long Tail Knits located in
Northfield Center. We are the Crossroads of NE Ohio and can be easily accessed from
US271, US77, Rt 8 and the turnpike.
Long Tail Knits is not your ordinary yarn shop. We are a fiber arts store as we do so much
more than knit and crochet. While knitting and crochet are important to us, so is spinning,
weaving, needle felting, macrame, etc. Fiber arts include many forms, and these can cross
over into each other.
Our local indie dyer, Kris with alk&me Fiber Art Studio, provides a wide variety of yarns and
other fibers for spinning, weaving and needle felting. Kris also teaches dye techniques from
her studio here in Sagamore Hills, Ohio, as well as our beginner and advanced spinning
workshops here at Long Tail Knits.
Mission statement: To create an environment where knitting, crocheting and other related
arts can be developed, nurtured and appreciated in the fiber arts community by providing
materials, skills and confidence to our customers so they can attain their individual personal
goals.
We stand by our mission statement and feel we not only have the best customers, but
friends that come to visit and stay awhile. We like to hang out with them daily. Check out our

While in the area, be sure to check out The Thrifty Owl used bookstore just 2 doors down
from us. Need a refreshing snack or beverage? Visit Incredibowls Fruit Co. in the next
plaza. Fresh fruits are the perfect choice to boost you along the way. Need something
sweet? We have the infamous Rosati’s Frozen Custard just up the hill. It is within walking
distance, too.

Opened in 2017, Gwen Erin Natural Fibers is right in the heart of Hubbard, Ohio! Although it is a small shop, you will find it packed with all sorts of interesting things for the adventurous fiber artist. We focus on micro-batch hand dyed yarns and fibers, dyed by the owner herself! Additionally you’ll find fun kits and tools for felters, spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters, and more! We hope you will find something to inspire you along your journey, whether you are just getting started or have been stitching for 25 years.
