Let’s do this!! 💪🏻🎨

The Blank Canvas is hosting our VERY FIRST Kids Art Camp this summer—and it’s going to be ✨AMAZING!!✨

I debated about offering 4 half-days of camp. Instead of spreading the fun out… we packed it ALL into 2 full days of nonstop creativity! 🙌 That’s🔟hours of hands-on projects for your 2nd–4th graders!

👀 Just look at this lineup:
• Air dry clay
• Paper mâché
• Tie-dye pillowcase
• Canvas painting
• Tin can ice cream (!!)

I am SO excited about this—I seriously can’t wait to see what these kids create! 😍

Well… that’s a wrap on semester 1 classes at Susan’s STEAM Station! This semester has been so fullfilling full of learning, fun and creativity!

🐸Here’s a little recap from this week’s “in the kitchen” classes! 🐸

✨DESTINATION: the best country ever USA🇺🇸

✨Did you know?
🇺🇸This July 4, our great country will celebrate her 250th birthday!! ❤️🤍💙🎂
🌯🌀The ingedients of a simple pinwheel or wrap can cover more than 1 food group!
🥩🌽🍓🍫Our pinwheels represented 4 different food groups- meats, veggies, fruit and sugar (dessert).
🌯🌀Originating in the great USA, these super easy, no-cook pinwheels are perfect for summertime!!

✨This was a fantastic ending to a fantastic semester!! ✨

We’ve wrapped up another week of STEAM classes!

✨ DESTINATION: Egypt 🇪🇬

✨ Did you know?
♟️ Board games have a history spanning thousands of years, evolving across cultures and societies.
🇪🇬 The oldest known board game is Senet, found in Egyptian burials dating back to 3500 BC.
♟️ Early games were often associated with religious practices and served as entertainment and social bonding.

🎨 Sooooo students got to create their very own board game. I hope lots of families are enjoying a family game night this week!! 🎨

✨ Destination: 🇮🇱 ISRAEL 🇮🇱

✨ Project: RESURRECTION GARDENS 🪨

✨ A little Biblical history, a little geography, a little science, a little creativity… all rolled up into one very fun and meaningful class!! This week also marked STEAM class #30 since the beginning in November!! That made Monday’s class in Sentinel extra special!
