Finished this piece. Same series as the last one.
Materials used are painted Japanese calligraphy paper, painted whimpsy textured Thai tissue paper, painted Yasutomo mulberry paper, Japanese Ogura lace paper, my version of a nautilus shell cut in Yupo. Enjoyed much the surprises that experimentation provided me with. This is a mixed media piece on piled 12 inch square, 10-inch square and 8 inch square cradle boards. Now moving on to my next adventure ❤️

Finished this piece. It was quite an adventure to figure out how to reproduce the textures I was seeing.
Materials used are painted Japanese calligraphy paper, painted whimpsy textured Thai tissue paper, painted Yasutomo mulberry paper, Japanese Ogura lace paper, my version of a nautilus shell cut in Yupo. I had a blast playing with all these fantastic papers. This is a mixed media piece on 12 inch square and 10-inch square cradle boards. Now moving on to my next adventure ❤️
