Want your kids (or you) to really learn to play the piano? One-on-one lessons are the gold standard for musical instrument education. The benefits of private individual lessons are that in a one-on-one setting, I can tailor lessons to your child’s age, learning style, interests and abilities. This is also the only way to learn technique and truly learn to play songs on the instrument.Group classes are great for socialization but individual lessons are the best way to learn music and my approach to teaching allows the student and family to participate in picking the music they want to learn, from family favorites to hymns to popular hits. I have over 20 years’ experience teaching 30+ students per week to become musicians, composers, collaborators, and music theory experts. Plus I charge less than a music school.I am an award-winning composer, performing musician, bandleader and multi-instrumentalist. I can provide references upon request.

Painting classes are noon to 2:30pm
Block Printing classes are 3:00-5:30pm

Howdy everyone -
I’ll be teaching some art classes on Sunday afternoons in July and August, in case anyone reading this, or someone you know might be interested.
There will be 2 sessions of four 2.5-hour painting classes, and 2 sessions of four 2.5-hour block printing classes.
Painting classes are $200 for 4 sessions, and block printing classes are $225 for 4 sessions.
All materials included.
Classes will include brief slideshows about the styles and media we’re working with. All ages 7+ welcome. Block Printing Students under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Signups are here, though the signup link is still under construction, so I’ll send a link when it’s working and folks can sign up.
