🥁 manos Percussion takes the stage this Thursday at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre — featuring Sedona Symphony principal percussionist Maria Flurry.

Maria has performed with the Symphony for the past five years and says she’s been inspired by the orchestra’s “meteoric artistic growth” during that time. “I especially love that the hall is the perfect size to see and hear the audience’s enthusiastic reactions,” she shares. “My manos group would be thrilled if the Symphony community joins us this Thursday”

Experience the ensemble’s powerful “Quarter Millennium Concert” — an electrifying evening of rhythm, sound, and immersive performance.

Last night was a night to remember with the Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra. 🥂It was a joy to watch our Assistant Conductor Desmond Siu (who you’ll remember from our Pops Concert!) lead a stunning season finale (he’s the Artistic Director of SSO).

The evening’s "protagonist" was undoubtedly the Steinway Model D, courtesy of Steinway & Sons - Scottsdale. 🎹✨ Take a listen to that iconic tone in the clip below. Recognize the melody?

While we’ll share (and show) much more in an upcoming e-newsletter, we couldn’t let another day pass without offering our heartfelt thanks to Kathryn and David Unger (pictured here with Maestro Will and our intrepid Board of Trustees President, Al Vander Peut).

These wonderful new members of our Symphony family graciously opened their beautiful Sedona home to host yesterday’s Major Donor Appreciation gathering. Their generosity—and their embrace of the music—means more than we can say.

Quite simply, the music happens because of them—and all of you.
