MERRY & MODERN: THE WINTER EDIT

A little festive, a little nostalgic, and entirely yours to create.

This winter, Studio 702 is skipping the traditional holiday set. Instead, the studio will be filled with a curated collection of seasonal pieces ready to mix, move, and make your own.

Think multiple Christmas trees, a variety of backdrops, wrapped gifts, garland, a rocking horse, cozy couches, benches, and plenty of little details to bring your vision to life.

Merry & Modern will be available Saturdays + Sundays only, November 7–December 19 at Studio 702 in downtown Sedalia, Missouri.

Studio rental includes access to our collection of holiday props and furnishings; photography services are not included. Need a photographer? Reach out and we’ll happily share a list of our trusted local photographers to help bring your holiday vision to life.

——
Studio 702 is a private natural-light photography studio and creative space featuring multiple backdrop options, movable furnishings, seamless paper, posing pieces, and plenty of room to create. Book the studio, bring your vision, and make the space yours.

Winter weekends are limited, so we recommend reserving your preferred dates early.

Last week, Kendall and I took a little trip to Colorado to spend time with family and finally meet someone who’s been cheering us on from afar for years, Shelby from Sixteen St. Studio.

Shelby’s creativity is contagious, and her studio is every bit as inspiring as she is. Located in Greeley, Colorado, Sixteenth St. Studio - Northern Colorado Photography Studio is filled with beautiful natural light, thoughtfully curated furnishings, versatile backdrops, a movable wall, and the dreamiest c*c wall. It’s the kind of space that sparks creativity the moment you walk in. If you’re ever in the area and need a studio, definitely add it to your list.

Shelby, thank you for welcoming us, capturing these sweet photos of Kendall and me, and for being one of our biggest supporters over the years. Watching our businesses grow alongside a friendship built on creativity, encouragement, and a shared love for serving others has been such a gift.

Here’s to creating beautiful things, cheering each other on, and continuing to build communities that feel like home. 🤍

A first look at our new seasonal color: Midnight Mocha.

Think versatile. In some light, it reads deep brown. In others, soft black or charcoal gray. One backdrop, endless possibilities.

Our favorite little corner…

Enjoy this little nook in the studio which features the softest leather couch, white bench, floor to ceiling cream curtains, and the most stunning natural light. Enjoy the minimal setup or move the furniture around to fit your vision and client needs.
