🌸✨ Such a fun afternoon in the studio!

Our Pressed Flower + Resin Workshop is officially a wrap, and I LOVE how everyone’s projects turned out. 💕 Same supplies, same basic process… and every single piece came out completely different.

This is one of my favorite parts of what we do at Rose Island Originals — getting together, trying something new, getting a little creative, and leaving with something you made yourself. 🥰

Thank you so much to everyone who spent part of their Saturday creating with me!

Now it’s time for a quick studio reset because we have a private event coming in tonight! 😅🙌

🌼 A few seats + a whole lot of pretty flowers are still waiting for tomorrow!

Our Pressed Flower + Resin Workshop is TOMORROW, and we still have room to add a few more people around the table.

If you’ve been seeing these trays pop up in your feed all week and thinking “I really want to try that…” — consider this your sign. 😉🌼

Come spend part of your Saturday choosing your flowers, playing with different arrangements, and creating a pressed flower piece that is completely your own.

And please don’t worry if you’ve never worked with pressed flowers or resin before. You don’t need to be crafty. You don’t need experience. We’ll walk you through it.

Okay, I have a new idea for Rose Island Originals… but I need you guys to help me test it.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I have a LOT of project files tucked away—and plenty of smaller pieces of wood left over from cutting our bigger projects.

So I’m thinking it’s time to put both of those things to good use. 🙌

I’m going to start trying **Sunday Studio Drops** — small batches of fun projects that will only be available for a limited time.

But there’s one catch…

**YOU get to help me decide what I make.**

A little flower arranging + a little resin magic. 🌼✨

I made another pressed flower tray this week and had to grab a few clips along the way because this process is just so pretty to watch.

And the best part? There really isn’t a “right” way to do it. You choose your flowers, arrange them however you love them, and end up with something completely your own.

New machine = new things I’m figuring out how to personalize. 👀

I’ve been playing with the new laser today and apparently we can add engraved metal to the list now. 🙌

With the boys’ first football game tonight, obviously my first real experiment had to be something for them. 🏈 I added their football numbers to the front of these helmet necklaces and our little family motto to the back:

Work hard. Love hard. Play hard. ❤️

I’m still learning everything this machine can do, but personalized sports jewelry, bag tags, keychains, dog tags, keepsakes… my brain is already going about 100 mph with possibilities. 😂

We’re kicking ours off tonight with Zeke & Xander’s first football game of the season, and I know we aren’t the only family whose calendar is about to revolve around practices, games, meets and Friday night lights.

Okay… this one might be even prettier in person. 🌼✨

There’s something about arranging real pressed flowers and watching an ordinary piece turn into something completely unique. No two ever come out exactly the same—and that might be my favorite part.

This Saturday, August 29, we’re bringing the flowers, creativity, and a little resin magic to the studio for our Pressed Flower & Resin Workshop.

We already have 5 creators joining us, but there’s still room around the table. 💛

Choose your project, pick your flowers, and make it completely your own. And if you’ve never worked with pressed flowers or resin before, that’s totally okay—no experience needed.

I’ve been working behind the scenes getting the studio calendar filled back up, and September is looking like it’s going to be a fun one. 🤎
