James Heckt I view the world in unique way and try to creatively show that with my work. I've been enjoying art and photography since my years in high school.

I tend to be playful with my shots and show what most people may not see with their own eyes. I love to bring depth to my photographs by applying shadow and light with a twist of color. But not till Digital came about was I able to bring to paper what I saw in my minds eye. My primary work is in landscapes, but I do enjoy some more abstract works now and then. I tend to use odd lens combinations f

or my Medium Format landscapes. And really enjoy using old manual lenses such as Hasselblad. I hope you fine my work ignites in your mind and provides you with a different view of the world.
