Willow Bader always knew she was an artist. She was born in Washington State and grew up drawing and creating. She moved to Philadelphia in 1998 to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The academy generously awarded her prizes and grants including the Scheidt Travel which took her to Europe for the first time to see art and architecture.

After living and showing in Philadelphia she returned to the pacific northwest to continue her art career. She currently shows with Dean Day Gallery in Houston, and Cole Gallery in Edmonds WA. Her painting studio in Seattle is always open to visitors.

Here dynamic work unites modern figurative subject matter with traditional mediums. The ancient painting medium of encaustic lends itself to the physicality and boldness of her work.

An artist who continues find dancers and music and the evening out an inspiration, Willow’s future interests are in the exposure of her work nationally and internationally. @ Seattle, Washington

Christine is the Co-Founder of Art Whit An Accent. Her company name is a blend of her last name along with her business motto of allowing her colorful art to accent your life. Originally from Saint Louis Missouri, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest over 15 years ago. She loves working with all mediums, facilitating fun private and group paint parties, and draws inspiration on the simplest things. Her parents instilled in her a love of the arts since they both are artist. They taught her to embrace and love what she creates and never be ashamed of how she expresses herself creatively because there is no right or wrong way of being an artist. She shares this positive message not only with her children, but with young and old who express an interest in art. As a Home Educator she has observed that allowing her children to express themselves through art before tackling their curriculum has improved them academically and has given them more self-confidence. She believes art is life and is here to enhance everyone’s lives for the better. @ Seattle, Washington
