So we started something we think is cool…so here it goes. Two Pines Productions. A concept came to my friend Duncan and I a few years back: What if we were able to create art that was unique, personal, and beautiful to the clients we interact with while also being a place that other artists can freely come and learn? What if we created a place that allowed for the aspiring photographer to practice
studio lighting or a graphic designer to test design concepts as they discuss, learn, and better themselves? What if we had a place that was accessible for someone to get on-the-job training from professional cinematographers or sound designers? Most importantly, what if this was easy enough so that the 6th grade girl who was just gifted a camera or the 24 year old who just loves to paint were able to get their foot in the door? What could happen? And we want to see that creativity come alive in people. Some of our greatest joys are seeing our friends pursue their creative dreams. We have felt burdened when our friends feel stuck in their creativity due to lack of finances, gear, or a combo of both. We want to work to reduce burden for people and we are dedicated to that. With skills in photography, graphic design, and videography, Duncan Shaffer and I have created Two Pines Productions as a way to help others, create beauty, and unleash our creativity. We have already partnered with each other on church camps, weddings, corporate logos, and websites. We are both dedicating our time to this adventure and we couldn’t be more excited with its potential. We don’t know every detail about this yet. We are still figuring a lot out. We still have a lot of questions we are getting answered. We are currently writing up contracts, seeing who can partner with us, establishing our own businesses, and trying to hustle. We are putting all our effort into this because why not? We have been given one life to live, so why not try and make it the most creative we can.
2017 marks the start of this business. Thank you all for the support. Cheers to creating beauty. Cheers to creating art.
