So for those of you who like their music a little bit harder, a little bit dirtier and a whole lot more angry than most, come check us out. Inspired by an experimental but wholly successful night at THE GREEN DOOR STORE. A night where we imagined we had crashed the wedding of Kurt and Courtney. We played a load of tunes from agit pop to shoegaze, thru riot grrrl and of course grunge. We loved it,

and you did too so we put our thinking caps on and got a night together. Come stare at the floor with us. We will be playing some of these bands and many more as and when we remember to add them...

Really sad news about Mark Lanegan :(

He truly was one of a kind. A poet with the voice of the devil. Responsible for so many good songs, but this was the one we always played at Sub Bop.

I walked for two miles in the pi***ng rain to find the building that used to house Reciprocal Recording - where in the late 80s Jack Endino recorded the debut albums of Babes In Toyland, Soundgarden, Tad, Green River, Nirvana, Mudhoney - and countless other albums of the era.

Someone has graffed ‘Kurt Lives’ on the side of it.
