Rip the walls apart ...run the wire for 220 breaker. Deal with breakers . Install two tandem breakers to open up space ....

For the new 220 line ...wall ripped apart. Compressor closet enlarged to fit the new unit .

Someone had epoxied the rods in place . A big mistake . I got the fretboard off . To start the rod removal I used two pieces of 14 gauge wire mounted in a Weller soldering gun . Each section of wire was jammed under an end of the rod . With the two ends in place ...the gun was plugged in and the trigger pulled . This heated the wires...which heated the rods . As they began to come loose I pried up the threaded end ...and heated the exposed rod with a torch . That made the process move along much faster .
It did not char the wood . It did crumble the epoxy . A win situation .

The fretboard had popped loose at the nut. Typical . Someone had removed the fretboard ...poured epoxy into the rod cavities...poorly reglued the fretboard . Time to deal with all of that.

Customer wanted checkered binding . The material was sourced. There were problems with body seams and screws not hitting...

Customer wanted checkered binding . The material was sourced. There were problems with body seams and screws not hitting wood. The solution was easy. Remove the wings . The binding was always installed prior to glue up . So I made new wings .
