Musical Immersions: for homeschool families Mission: to create a free flowing learning musical experience. Next was in a retirement home for dementia where there was a rich generational exchange.

Whether it’s guiding musical/artistic concepts for instrumentation or having a field trip where we will explore how music is all around us Musical Immersions happened when a homeschool family asked a professional performing artist to spend time with her children providing a musical creative environment once a week. The first session was a wildly fun jamboree in the artist's backyard: exploring any

thing that made a sound, listening to the world around them, singing, dancing, and creating all kinds of moments together. They went on to play the zoo, mall, each others homes, anywhere, anyplace, anything music. It became a great way to explore the world around them through freely creative eyes and ears

Mi goes back to the Weatherly retirement home for another performance amongst the elderly, this time the kids will give a live painting display as well. I will make sure things will get messy...

Today we will play the zoo! I will keep posting notes of our adventures as below: first unclass, unschooled music class 2, and then what ever may come from todays Immersion as we may become wild animals..
