The Fremont Solstice Parade ends in a block party, beer garden, and band stage this year! 🎶🍻

Catch our block party this Saturday June 17 (parade day!) right at the end of the route, located between Fremont Brewing and The Dock Sports Bar & Grill at N 34th St and Woodland Park Ave N. We will have a beer garden and band stage featuring the winners of our recent band contest! Settle in at noon to watch the parade come in during the afternoon, or join us after the parade for some music and beverages! 🎶🍻

For the (Saturday June 17), we are hiring a few folks for safety roles along the edges of the parade route (put out street signs, help redirect traffic away from the parade). We are also hiring a few folks to help clean up the street afterwards (walk behind the parade and bag any trash left behind). We are paying $20/hour per person. Interested? Sarah Lovett is a 2022 McKay grant recipient and a longtime FAC artist at Solstice, Luminata, and other Seattle area arts events. Sarah is generously donating her one of a kind owl lantern to our Soiree (fremontartscouncil.org/soiree) and one lucky bidder will have the chance to give it a new home. The owl made its debut at Luminata 2022 and Sarah is fully decorating it before it goes to its new roost.
