It is with heavy hearts that the Inchin’s Bamboo Garden Bothell and Bellevue family shares the sudden passing of Bhibiraj Rai, a beloved kitchen team member in Bothell, Washington. In just six months, Bhibiraj became so much more than a coworker. He was a steady presence in the kitchen, a mentor to younger staff, and someone known for being the first to smile. After an illness related to his health condition, Bhibiraj passed away on September 19, 2026. His loss has deeply affected everyone who knew and worked alongside him, and it has also left his wife and 17-year-old son in India facing heartbreaking grief and immediate financial hardship. As the sole breadwinner for his family, Bhibiraj’s passing has created an overwhelming burden at an already painful time.
This fundraiser is being organized in honor of Bhibiraj Rai to help his loved ones through the difficult days ahead. Donations will help cover cremation costs in Washington, estimated at $3,000 to $4,000, and will also provide direct financial support to Bhibiraj’s widow and son in India as they cope with the sudden loss of income and urgent expenses.
