The Rhapsody Project

10/17/2026

More than a concert. Come remember why we gather and celebrate. Get out of your head and into your body and express yourself through music, food, dancing, fun + fancy attire, and community. Express yourself through an outfit that says "fun & fancy" to you, or connects you to your cultural roots. (That outfit you have nowhere to wear? This is the night.)

Bonus: By showing up, you support music and heritage education for your community.

Tickets start at $10. Head over to therhapsodyproject.org/the-heritage-ball to get yours.

See you on Saturday!

Music that Spotify isn't suggesting to you but should be in your rotation: Hijos de Agüeybaná and The Rhapsody Songsters. We highly recommend checking these artists out LIVE (especially since the Songsters aren't on Spotify), and you've got a unique opportunity to just that on October 24th!

Both of these groups are keeping culture and music alive in America -- through bomba, folk, jazz, blues, gospel, and more, they do crucial work that helps keep the world HUMAN.

So for one night, take off your headphones, leave the algorithm behind, hop on the bus to Seattle Center, and be a part of a fantastic celebration with us. Tickets start at $10.

✨🍷 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: ELNAH JORDAN 🍷✨
The Grown Woman Experience — Fine Like W**e
Some voices don't simply sing a song—they carry history, soul, wisdom, and lived experience.
And that is Elnah Jordan. ❤️
As we get closer to The Grown Woman Experience: Fine Like W**e, I keep thinking about why I chose that name. These women truly embody what it means to become richer, deeper, stronger, and more beautiful with time.
And Elnah is the very definition of Fine Like W**e. 🍷
She is a powerhouse vocalist whose voice is steeped in jazz, blues, soul, and truth. There is a depth and authenticity in the way Elnah delivers a song that simply cannot be taught—you have to have lived some life to sing like that. And that's why she calls it "The Elnah Jordan Experience" when she performs!
At our rehearsal last night, I was reminded all over again just how special this group of women is. The chemistry between the singers and musicians was electric, and when Elnah opened her mouth to sing, she brought that unmistakable spirit that only Elnah Jordan can bring.
This is why I created this show.
To celebrate grown women.
To celebrate our artistry.
To celebrate our stories.
To celebrate the beauty, power, seasoning, and wisdom that come with living.
On Friday, October 2, Elnah will grace the stage at The Royal Room alongside an incredible lineup of women for a night of soul, jazz, blues, R&B, sisterhood and grown-woman magic.
And trust me…
These women aren't getting older.
They're getting BETTER. 🍷🔥
