Happy October! 🍁🍂🍁

09/21/2026

Hey, Y’all. Happy Monday! As you know, I have slowed down with wreath making this year, but if you know me, you know I’ve got to get my hands on something pretty much all the time. Here is some of our September decor. It’s still summery here, so I felt the color palette was appropriate. It’s been uplifting to look at these colors and designs. We’ve had some family gatherings lately, so I whipped up some homemade strawberry cupcakes with strawberry butter cream cheese icing. All with fresh strawberries. Very good. Also made a key lime pie and a peach cobbler… all the summer things we are savoring last minute. My hubs changed our flag out front from the American Flag/Semiquincentennial to a UGA flag…. Football is upon us. And I removed the red, white, and blue ribbons from our 2 faux boxwood wreaths and will replace them with some red, black, and white ribbons for UGA. When it gets cooler, I’ll put the Fall stuff out. As you can see, I’m not terribly conventional
when it comes to displaying seasonal colors at the “right” time. I’m basing it more on the weather and the “feel” for now. Going with the flow. When I get the UGA bows made, I’ll post a pic of the front. I hope you all had a nice weekend. ❤️

HAPPY FRIDAY, Y’ALL! 💙💛🩷
I’m seeing lots of Fall posts in the crafting world, yet it’s still Summer here. Our temps are rising into the high 90’s this weekend and beyond. Yikes! As you know, I’m working very part time right now, but I recently made this wreath for a sweet customer of mine who has wanted a bright and happy wreath since Springtime, and I finally got to it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
