This happened to me, too. My high school music teacher, Norm Richardson, after hearing me play the harmonica asked me to join the band and pursue a music career. The rest of my life fell into place and I’m still doing it. It was an epiphany for me as well.

Had a wonderful session today at Sunset Sound studio in Hollywood. It was for a great independent county artist named Charlie Crockett (not pictured). I’m posing with composer Stephan Barber and producer Shooter Jennings. This is a historical studio and it was three hours of total fun playing bass harmonica, chromatic harmonica, jaw harp and flute.

On my birthday, I’m greatful for my family and friends, and I thank God everyday for their health and prosperity. What makes me sad is that America is so divided. I’m going to pray everyday, and hope that people stop saying aweful things about each other. In the words of John Lennon “All You Need is Love”. That starts with how we think, and what we do and say.
