🏁 IT’S BEEN TOO LONG…

The last time we heard engines roar around the Quarter Mile Coliseum was September 18th and we’re more than ready to change that.

After Mother Nature has kept us away, we’re praying for clear skies and the opportunity to finally get back to racing this weekend. 😅

It all comes down to The Champ Show at the Quarter Mile Coliseum!

Middleford Speedway will close out the 2026 championship season with a packed night of racing as we crown our champions, settle some unfinished business with makeup races, and bring the racing community together for an even bigger purpose — supporting the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer.
🎗️ Middleford Speedway will donate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to the American Cancer Society.

Last year, the Middleford Speedway community helped raise $9,251.17, and we're looking to build on that success in 2026!

⚠️ LIMITED LATE MODEL UPDATE

The Limited Late Models will not be competing during The Champ Show on October 17.

With several makeup races that need to be worked into an already packed championship program, we made the decision to remove the Limited Late Models from this event to give us the time needed to complete the remaining races.

We appreciate all of the Limited Late Model drivers and teams who have supported Middleford Speedway this season and appreciate everyone's understanding.

This night is about much more than championships.

We're inviting our drivers, race teams, families, friends and fans to join us in raising money for the American Cancer Society.

🌧️ SEPTEMBER SCRAPPLER CANCELED 🌧️

Due to the rain expected tomorrow, the September Scrappler scheduled for Saturday, October 3, has been canceled.

The forecasted rainfall will not allow us to provide the safe, competitive racing surface that our drivers and fans deserve.

We also have traveling teams planning to leave early tomorrow morning to join us. We do not want them spending time and money on the road, only to receive a cancellation notice and have to turn around midway through their trip. Making this decision tonight gives everyone the opportunity to adjust their plans before leaving home.

We know how much work our race teams, sponsors, employees and fans put into preparing for an event, and we do not make this decision lightly.

Any updates concerning the affected races or future schedule changes will be announced separately.

Thank you for your patience, support and understanding. Please stay safe, and we hope to see everyone soon at the Quarter Mile Coliseum.

The first 20-lap Mod-Lite feature pays $1,250 to win guaranteed, $800 for second, $600 for third, and $100 to take the green. The remaining purse is based on 12 or more cars.

The second Mod-Lite feature is the June 26 makeup race. The first 11 cars have already qualified, and it pays a guaranteed $1,250 to win, with the standard purse from second place on back.

East Coast Vintage will also run its June 26 makeup feature. Drivers and teams who paid for pit passes on June 26 can use those passes for this event.

Also on the card: USAC SpeedSTRs, Delaware Super Trucks, and Delmarva Chargers.

🙌🏼 VFW NIGHT AT THE RACES 🙌🏼

We’re raising funds for Virgil Wilson VFW Post 4961 in Seaford, Delaware. The post is working toward an $85,000 goal to replace its 50-year-old HVAC system and address other maintenance needs.

You can donate at the gate or during the event. Donations over $5 receive a raffle ticket for a gift from the VFW. We’ll share a picture of the gift soon!

We’re beginning to put the pieces together for one of the most meaningful nights remaining on our 2026 schedule — the Paige Lynch Memorial Race.

This special night of racing will help raise money for Delaware Hospice, and thanks to several sponsors already stepping forward, the purses are beginning to grow!

🔥 600 WINGLESS MICRO SPRINTS — FEATURED DIVISION

And those numbers may increase! We still have sponsors responding and will update the purse as additional support comes in.
