Maddie is such a talented musician and a caring mentor, and we’re honored to support Youth Arts Coalition by sharing our love of music with even more young people.

To our campers: practice, practice, practice! Now you have free help to keep building your skills, trying new things, and growing your confidence. Instruments are included, too!

OMG we love this

We had such a great time at the Electric City Music Conference! We felt so welcomed by everyone who stopped by the Scranton Girls Rock photo booth, took pictures with us, and learned more about what we do.

We’re already excited to start thinking about how we can be part of it again next year. Thank you to everyone who made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

Community supporting community is what makes this work possible.

We are incredibly grateful to the women of Voce Angeli of Scranton for voting to select Scranton Girls Rock as the beneficiary of their 10th annual concert celebration. Their generous donation from the event’s proceeds is enough to provide nearly two full camp scholarships for young people who may not otherwise have access to this experience.

We want to thank every woman who shared her voice that day. Many of the singers are also volunteers, mentors, leaders, and supporters within Scranton Girls Rock. Seeing women from our own community come together through music to create opportunities for the next generation made this gift even more meaningful.

Our Music Director, Tara Kasperowski, also gave a wonderful speech about Scranton Girls Rock and the young people we serve. Tara brings so much talent, leadership, and heart to our organization, and we are grateful for the way she represented our mission.

Thank you as well to Antonia Summa for capturing the celebration so beautifully. We love the perspective she brings to our events and the way she tells the story of our community through her photographs.

Thank you to every member of Voce Angeli, everyone who attended, and everyone who contributed. Because of you, nearly two more young people can experience a week of music, creativity, friendship, confidence, and belonging at Scranton Girls Rock.
