Still Air
A quiet field I keep returning to, soft light, slow breath, a moment that feels like it remembers me.
Sharing three little glimpses today… and tell me, would you like to see this one in the shop soon?

Two trees, two quiet souls.
They stand together in the hush of light, a secret shared between leaves and sky.

🌿 From my series of small landscapes where stillness speaks softly.

✨Whisper of Pears✨🍐
Two pears, leaning close, as if the world paused for their quiet conversation.
Tiny painting, big story.

I don’t usually paint this small, but this tiny landscape felt like it was asking to be made.
A lone tree, a quiet hill, mountains fading into a soft sky; nothing dramatic, just a breath.
Funny how a few inches of canvas can hold so much calm.
It was a whisper of a painting, and somehow that whisper carried farther than a shout.

Dialogue in Shadow
This work began as a pursuit of vibrancy,
a green I wanted to shine against the canvas. Yet the more I blended, the more it deepened, resisting brightness and finding its voice in shadow.
The black did not silence the green; it gave it gravity. The yellow line became a quiet mediator, a thread of light between contrasts. The white space offered breath, a pause in the conversation.
Dialogue in Shadow is a reminder that art often knows more than the artist.
Sometimes the canvas speaks back, and the most powerful act is to listen.

Staring at my paints for 20 minutes before remembering I can actually create the color I’m searching for.
