Nebraska West Fest was able to donate $10,000 dollars to the Gering Public Library Foundation to kick start their fundraising efforts to improve the library for the public. We are incredibly humbled to be able to present this gift. West Fest was an incredible success. We could not have pulled this off without all of our incredible donors, vendors, volunteers who worked the event all day, and without the incredible support of the community. We never imagined being able to donate this amount in our first year. It’s a testament to the incredible people of the panhandle and the thoroughness of the event. West Fest would have never happed if it was not for the awesome local breweries, cideries, & distilleries that came together with the idea. Everyone on the committee worked incredibly well together, forged better relationships and was a great example of what businesses can do if they come together; drop the sense of competition for support of one another even outside of the event and strive for a common goal.
We can’t thank everyone who attended and supported enough. Thank you Thank you!!

Also a special shout out to the Oregon Trail Community Foundation that helped in so many ways.

We are looking forward to next year, even bigger and better (and maybe not 90 degrees in March?) 😆
