Stop 🛑 & Smell the Puppy Paws! Life moves fast, and sometimes the moments that matter most are the ones happening right in front of us. This weekend my family and I welcomed a new member to our family, Boo Bear (short for Beary) Galdos. This weekend, Boo reminded me that our life’s highlight reel isn’t made up of things we buy or accomplishments we chase. It’s made up of moments, laughter, surprises, and time spent with the people we love.

So this week, ask yourself:

What’s one thing you can change to be more present and make a deposit into your highlight reel?

Slow down. Be present. Make the memory.

Have you Learned to Fail? If you’re used to winning and have never tasted failure, then I commend you. However, at some point you will have a moment where things don’t go your way. When you do, you need to learn to embrace it, and get back up and keep moving forward as quickly as possible. In life we learn the majority of our lessons through our failures, not our success. Do you Fear new things? When working towards your goals it’s important to track and understand where you are so you can make decisions on what matters. If you can’t track it then it’s not a REAL goal! FEAR takes over in the absence of information. Stop letting your emotions make your decisions. Find the facts! Also, it’s always important to try new things! Here’s your reminder to educate yourself so you can make decisions about who you hang out with and not be afraid of getting back out there and trying again! Go crush it!

Would you be a Human Piñata? This past weekend we celebrated our son TRITON‘s 12th birthday. However, my wife had some party game ideas for my Tritons birthday and volunt-told Darien our oldest son that he would be the human piñata! Sometimes in life we get volunteered for things we don’t want to do. However, you’ll miss moments and memories if you resist opportunity! What decision will you face this week that you might be hesitant to do? What would change if you said, yes?
