🍂🧡 Sweater Weather 2025 is giving ALL the cozy fall vibes! 🧡🍂

Holly from Cozy By The Seam made this absolutely STUNNING quilt, and I think this might be one of my favorite quilts ever! 😍 The color combinations are just gorgeous, and the pattern is so darling. Everything about this quilt just works SO well together!

And for the longarming, I think Sprite was the PERFECT pick! ✨ It adds just the right touch to complement this beautiful quilt without taking away from all the goodness happening in those fabrics.

Holly is such a talented quilt maker, and I’m so impressed by the quilts she creates. 🧵💕 I’m so glad I got to be a little part of this quilt’s journey. Quilts like this are a reminder of why I love what I do! 🥹❤️

During this third year anniversary, I want to really shine a light on my dad and what he did for me to see this dream come alive.
Through the construction process of finishing my old bonus room, to dealing with my now x husband to get he job done, to showing his granddaughter how to lay floor, he did it with a smile on his face. He wanted to see me happy and thriving and accomplishing dreams, and that man would stop at nothing. He spent hours with me painting, helping me with my business brief for a small business loan, anything to help. He did it. When the loan wasn’t going to come through, he made the decision to loan me the money. When the machine and frame came in he took the time ensuring everything was perfectly level and aligned. He watched me be so excited to get the machine out of the box and up and running. The entire time he was championing me on.
When Quiltfolk reached out to feature me in the Georgia issue, he was so incredibly proud of me. And when I found out that my quilt would be the cover, we all screamed on the phone with excitement.
My dad never got to see the issue come out. He died 6 months after Quilt Please launched. There have been so many times over the last 2.5 years that I’ve felt him there with me, solving a problem, or laughing along with me. But I know none of this would exist today without this help. Given over and over again, just to see me succeed.
I miss him everyday and Amelia and I remember him and bring up memories all the time. But anytime the machine is on I always think thanks dad, I love and miss you♥️

🌈🐰 This quilt just makes me happy! 🐰🌈

Alex from Alex - Dawnlight Threads made this Happy Habitat quilt and I am absolutely in love with it! 💕 She used Tula Pink fabrics and the colors are just PERFECT together.

It’s so bright, cheerful, and fun that it’s hard to look at this quilt and not smile. 🥰 My daughter especially loved looking at all the little animals and pointing out all the different colors. 🐸🦊🐰🌈

Alex’s piecing is seriously impressive, and this quilt turned out SO cute! I love all the little details and how much personality this quilt has.

I’m so glad I got to be a little part of the magic! ✨🧵💕

Emily of Emily Livingston made this gorgeous tree skirt, and I think the custom quilting takes it to a whole new level of elegance. 😍

There’s something so special about custom quilting on a project like this—it adds those extra little details that make the whole piece feel elevated, heirloom-worthy, and ready to become part of someone’s Christmas traditions for years to come. ❤️

❄️✨ Zach Barnard of Zach Barnard has another beauty off the longarm! This snowflake quilt is absolutely stunning — crisp, wintery, and full of gorgeous detail. 🧵🤍

We finished it with the Interstellar Lite pantograph, and it is such a beautiful compliment to the quilt! ✨🌌 The subtle movement and texture add just the right amount of sparkle without competing with those gorgeous snowflakes. Melissa Kelley really has some wonderful movement in her designs!

Zach always brings such creativity and thoughtfulness to his quilts, and I love getting to see what he comes up with next! 💙

🌸 Okay… I think panels are starting to win me over. 😂🧵

I’ve noticed a definite increase lately in the number of quilts coming through my studio that incorporate panels, and I have to admit… I’ve never really had a strong opinion about them one way or another.

But seeing the ways you all are using them? 👀

They’re growing on me.

I love seeing a panel become part of a larger quilt rather than simply being the entire quilt top. The creativity, the fabric choices, the piecing around the panel, and the way the quilting can pull everything together can completely transform the finished piece.

And honestly, some of these quilts have made me look at panels in a whole new way. 💕 They can add a focal point, tell a story, or bring in a really fun pop of artwork that might be difficult to recreate through traditional piecing.

So I’m curious…

❤️🐻 This sweet block-in-a-block quilt is just the cutest! The little red animal prints tucked into each block add so much charm and personality—you can’t help but smile looking at them. 🧵✨

To finish it off, we chose the Lovely Loops pantograph, and it’s the perfect simple, all-over design. The soft loops add beautiful texture while letting those adorable little animals remain the stars of the show. ❤️

And here’s a fun quilting fact… would you believe me if I told you the bobbin thread was green?! 💚 Thanks to the magic of tension, the red top thread stitched out beautifully on the quilt while the green blended perfectly with the backing. It’s one of those little longarm secrets that never stops amazing me!
