❄️✨ Zach Barnard of Zach Barnard has another beauty off the longarm! This snowflake quilt is absolutely stunning — crisp, wintery, and full of gorgeous detail. 🧵🤍

We finished it with the Interstellar Lite pantograph, and it is such a beautiful compliment to the quilt! ✨🌌 The subtle movement and texture add just the right amount of sparkle without competing with those gorgeous snowflakes. Melissa Kelley really has some wonderful movement in her designs!

Zach always brings such creativity and thoughtfulness to his quilts, and I love getting to see what he comes up with next! 💙

🌸 Okay… I think panels are starting to win me over. 😂🧵

I’ve noticed a definite increase lately in the number of quilts coming through my studio that incorporate panels, and I have to admit… I’ve never really had a strong opinion about them one way or another.

But seeing the ways you all are using them? 👀

They’re growing on me.

I love seeing a panel become part of a larger quilt rather than simply being the entire quilt top. The creativity, the fabric choices, the piecing around the panel, and the way the quilting can pull everything together can completely transform the finished piece.

And honestly, some of these quilts have made me look at panels in a whole new way. 💕 They can add a focal point, tell a story, or bring in a really fun pop of artwork that might be difficult to recreate through traditional piecing.

So I’m curious…

❤️🐻 This sweet block-in-a-block quilt is just the cutest! The little red animal prints tucked into each block add so much charm and personality—you can’t help but smile looking at them. 🧵✨

To finish it off, we chose the Lovely Loops pantograph, and it’s the perfect simple, all-over design. The soft loops add beautiful texture while letting those adorable little animals remain the stars of the show. ❤️

And here’s a fun quilting fact… would you believe me if I told you the bobbin thread was green?! 💚 Thanks to the magic of tension, the red top thread stitched out beautifully on the quilt while the green blended perfectly with the backing. It’s one of those little longarm secrets that never stops amazing me!

✨🧵 This quilt is an absolute BEAST… and I mean that in the best possible way! 😍 Laura created this stunning giant quilt, and every inch of it is beautiful. From her impeccable piecing to her incredible fabric choices, her quilts are always true masterpieces.

Because of the scale of this quilt, I sized up the Magic Trick pantograph to match, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. ✨ The larger quilting design adds gorgeous texture and movement while perfectly complementing the quilt’s grand scale.
