My name is Sophie Prom and I do graphite and charcoal illustrations.

Art has always been a deep part of my life, and I’ve learned that my most meaningful illustrations come from capturing the moments, emotions, and stories that truly matter 🤍

I wanted to try something a little different for my upcoming fair (more details coming soon!) 🫶

I am officially caught up with all of my commissions, minus one pet portrait, and one mother-son portrait with which I am just waiting on some reference photos! For now, though, I am going to be focusing on creating more pieces for the art market that I have in about a month!

It’s been crazy busy so I didn’t market Father’s Day, BUT I did have a repeat customer who reached out and commissioned me to make a portrait for their son and I can’t wait to share it once it has been received 🤗🤍

This is an 8x10 using charcoal and I will have it available as a print coming soon along with another fun update to my art business!! Thank you to everyone for supporting me on my journey! It’s crazy to see how far I’ve come these past 9 months!

Oh sweet baby! 🥹🤍

This handsome boy might just be my favorite pet portrait I’ve done so far 🫶 It’s been 6 months since I picked up charcoal for the first time and, thinking back to my first charcoal attempt, it’s crazy to see how much I have learned and grown!!

Little miss Bailey was a 6x8 charcoal commission who is now officially done and will be sent off to AZ tomorrow morning! 🫶🫶

This 11x14 commission is finally done 🙌🙌

Someone reached out after seeing my two other architectural pieces asking if I would do a gothic-style cathedral/architectural piece. I ended up basing a lot of the details, especially of the arches, on the Cologne Cathedral in Germany and love how it turned out!

My toddler ended up getting sick and then an ear infection so I wasn’t able to work on it much for the 4 days where he wasn’t sleeping well but it is now officially done! Now just to frame and pack it up🤍

I realized I never shared the Mother’s Day pieces on Facebook, so here are a few of my favorites from this year!

It’s been a busy past month and a half between life, Mother’s Day commissions, and a few other projects and gifts, so bear with me while I get back on track over here!

Last week had been National Police Week, so I had made this piece for the local sheriff’s department!

I genuinely have never done a piece like this but is was so so fun and I hope the department liked it! I have so much respect and appreciation for the men and women who show up every day to protect and serve our community. Thank you all for what you do 🤍

It’s been a while! I’ve been pushing to get all of the final Mother’s Day commissions done after taking a little space. Obviously I can’t share them quite yet but I’m so happy with how they’ve been turning out and am so excited to share 🤍

In the meantime, about a week and a half ago, I had someone ask if I offered greeting cards and they finally came 🙌 These are the ones they ordered.. how cute are these!?

It comes with a very heavy heart that I announce I have recently received news that a good friend of mine, my best friend’s brother, someone I have known since elementary school, someone who was truly like an older brother to me for a good portion on my life passed away unexpectedly and tragically.

If you’ve already commissioned a Mother’s Day piece from me, please know your artwork is still on track and will be completed on time 🤍

I am still accepting a limited number of Mother’s Day commissions, but I may be a little quieter than usual as I take some time to somehow process everything.

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time, it truly means more than I can say.

So excited to announce that you can now find a selection of my 5x7 art prints as well as a few copies of the book I made for my son, Dylan, inside the beautiful shop, Danique - beauty and the beans in Saint Cloud, MN 🤍

Mother's Day is now 4 weeks away! 🌷🤍

I currently can take on two more commissions to those wanting to gift their loved one with something special for Mother's Day.

As a mom myself, I am so excited for the few I have already done and those I am currently working on. It is such a precious gift that truly will be treasured forever.
