9/11 Firefighters Monument

The 9/11 Firefighter monument is displayed in Bermel’s Shoe store. Typically it would be displayed in fire stations, but Randal’s fire station does not have any window. Now if you’re heading up to your cabin over Memorial Day stop in to Bermel’s store. The popular Redwing boot store that also repairs shoes.

9/11 Firefighters Monument was proudly displayed at the Pierz Fire Department (4/30-5/14). It was will pride and honor to have this monument debut in my hometown. I have received numerous praises about the monument, but the honor goes to those who serve you, Pierz and the surrounding communities.
Started with just a gift and a military rally cry to “Finish the Fight”, I say ‘Thank You’ to the Pierz Fire Department.

Thank you:
-Midway Iron of Sauk Rapids for bringing my vision to life. I was unable to plasma cut the metal needed to make the monument because I have a pace maker. The arc from welding or the plasma cutter would interfere with the pace maker and confuse my heart rhythm with the arc. It could have be severely dangerous for me to operate the machinery.

-Scenic Sign of Sauk Rapids for donating the LED lights needed to light the WTC from within the firefighter monument.

-M&H Appliance for the refrigerator boxes used to make the display portable.

-Saint Cloud Welding for helping me reinforce the monument so that it would stand straight.

-All Pro Powder Coating for painting the monument.

-Saint Stephen Fire Department for donating 2 unserviceable fire hoses and letting me show off the display (even though it wasn’t completed) for their fire prevention open house.

-Pierz Fire Department for letting set up my display. They were so kind. I wasn’t sure what I could ask for. They accommodated all my requests. I’m just glad it didn’t interfere with the operation of the fire department.

-Bermel’s Shoe Store in Randal for the opportunity to display the monument.
