🎶 Alash Ensemble — The Magic of Tuvan Throat Singing
Prepare to have your mind blown! Hailing from Tuva in Central Asia, Alash carries on an ancient musical tradition in which singers can produce multiple notes at once. It's mesmerizing, otherworldly, and something you have to hear to believe!

Saugerties has gone to the dogs… and we couldn’t be more excited! 🐕🎨

Since early summer, 36 artist-designed dogs have been bringing color, creativity, and plenty of smiles to the streets of Saugerties. Now, it’s time for these one-of-a-kind pups to find their forever homes!

Join the Saugerties Chamber of Commerce for a lively, fun-filled auction featuring the dynamic auctioneering duo of Bob Siracusano and Ray Tucker. With these two at the helm, you know there will be plenty of laughs, excitement, and friendly bidding competition! 🐾🔨

On Saturday, October 17 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Jane St. Art Center is hosting a one-day intensive studio class. Led by the artist ransome, students use recycled, purchased, and hand-designed patterned papers to study form, composition, and texture. The session includes technical demonstrations as well as group and individual critiques.

Sat., Sept. 26 at 8pm: Alexis P. Suter is an American blues and soul singer-songwriter with a voice ranging from pained passion to explosive and soul bearing. Her passionate music is an emotional and spiritual experience. Beloved in the Hudson Valley, Suter and her band opened for Levon Helm nearly 100 times with regular performances at Midnight Rambles.

Sun., Sept. 27 at 5pm: Thana Alexa is a Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist, composer, arranger, and producer whose music pushes boundaries from jazz, global and electronic soundscapes, placing importance on social activism, mental health awareness & uplifting female voices. She’ll be presenting the music from her upcoming release, which reimagines songs from The Beatles and Björk to Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder alongside a tour de force of artists.
