Ashley is a dedicated recovery advocate and community leader with lived experience in addiction recovery and mental health. She is passionate about creating inclusive, recovery-oriented spaces where individuals feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered to heal.

Ashley currently serves as an RCO Program Manager, leading peer support initiatives, community outreach, recovery advocacy, and overdose prevention efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Children and Family Services and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health at the University of South Florida.

In addition to her professional work, Ashley uses poetry and creative expression as tools for healing and recovery. Her trauma-informed, person-centered approach and commitment to reducing stigma through honesty, connection, and lived experience make her a passionate voice for hope and recovery.

We are excited to welcome special guest Michael Kinsey, an award-winning photographer, director, actor, and creative visionary from Sarasota, Florida.

Michael’s outstanding photography has been featured nationally in Rolling Stone Magazine, Inc. Magazine, and The Washington Post. As a filmmaker, he has earned recognition for his unique storytelling and cinematic style.

His acclaimed limited series Gloria 19 received the Best Web Series Award at both the Sunshine City Film Festival and the Tampa Bay Black Art & Film Festival. His first film, Killer Date Night, a dark comedy short, was selected by several prestigious film festivals, including the Pan African Film Festival, Sunshine City Film Festival, and Hip Hop Film Festival.

Join us as Michael shares his journey in photography, filmmaking, acting, entrepreneurship, and the creative process behind bringing stories to life.

We are honored to welcome Dr. John Wesley Walker, Jr., D.Min., a respected faith leader, community advocate, chaplain, educator, and servant leader.

Dr. Walker served as pastor of Beth El Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Sarasota for 14 years and has dedicated nearly four decades to ministry. He currently serves as Religious Program Coordinator and Chaplain for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, Sarasota County Fire Department, and the United States Secret Service.

A graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary with Doctor of Ministry and Master of Christian Ministry degrees, Dr. Walker has devoted his life to strengthening families, empowering communities, and building bridges through faith and service.

His leadership has impacted countless lives through programs focused on education, recovery, youth development, family enrichment, and community engagement. He also serves on numerous community boards and leadership councils throughout Florida.

Join us as we discuss faith, leadership, community service, and the power of making a difference.
