During his early teens, he fully embraced the worlds of hiphop and hardcore punk: He came up with the phrase "hip-hop mentality, punk rock attitude," initially focusing on hip-hop as a DJ but eventually expanding his interests and flow, finding a thriving home in Florida's underground electronic and rave scene. rdcore electronica, Smow Queed had developed a unique background that helped him achieve a diverse outlook on music. Fortuitously, one of his friends suggested he join a dance meet-up/clinic at his house, which enabled him to start picking music and selecting playlists. He discovered he had a penchant for DJ sets and using song selections in order to build the perfect mood and vibes. Soon after, he moved from using his phone and laptop to actually work with Traktor and bring his flow to the next level. He even took up turntables, which enabled him to take his DJ career to the next level. To this day, Smow Queed can be found playing styles as diverse as Miami bass, Nola bounce, Jersey club, House, Hip-hop, Reggaeton, and Dancehall, only to name a few! His sound is organic and dynamic, and using vinyl actually allows him to ignite some extra warmth and unpredictability to his flow. You never know what you're gonna get when you're crate digging! Currently, Smow Queed focuses primarily on bass-oriented dance music while still retaining a very open and one-of-a-kind mindset.
