So happy to see that you guys are getting together sharing the fun times, and a little sad that I'm not there with you! However, I did find some other artists to paint with while I'm looking for a new place of my own (pretty stressful) and a car etc.... it feels like I'm completely starting over, a new place, new faces, and.... cold weather that feels really cold !! Normandy feels like heaven to me despite the cold... much like when I first moved to Florida.

This Saturday an amazing group of creative, light-hearted women will be gathering at Cafe Arts a recently opened coffee-shop in the Rosemary District.

If you are an art newbie (or looking to get back into your groove), don't miss this opportunity to connect with other like-minded individual's for ideas and inspiration. We are pretty casual and you don't have to show up exactly on time or stay til the end.

We usually sketch or do other light artwork. Sometimes I spend more time researching on my iPad than actual artwork- it's really up to you- no pressure.

I do prefer that you rsvp so I have an idea (see events in 'featured').

This morning at the Art Swap Challenge! Wow, we all had so much fun even though we didn't get to chat as much as usual, we probably laughed twice as much! We did 3 rounds! I'm so grateful for everyone.

I had fun making my abstract art while everyone else was busy getting creative with beads, shells and driftwood they found on the beach. We were especially lucky to have a ”bead angel” join us- she brought so many beautiful beads anybody could use (thanks, Rebecca!!).
