Real life moment 🤍

Our family is adjusting to a recent Celiac disease diagnosis for our 6-year-old, and it’s required a lot of extra time and energy right now.

Because of this, I havent opened up for Valentine’s Day orders yet, and I’ll likely be offering fewer spots than I had anticipated so I can continue creating thoughtfully without stretching myself too thin.

A little peek at the end of my Christmas season 🤍

Every piece in this video represents a story someone trusted me to tell — a pet, a family, a memory, a moment they wanted preserved. I don’t take that lightly.

All 2025 Christmas orders were officially finished on time, and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for choosing handmade, for supporting my art, and for supporting my family in the process.

Now to take a deep breath, clean off my table, and start dreaming about what’s next. ✨

I haven’t disappeared! Life has just got a little full with kids’ sports, school activities, family time, and lots of painting in the in between.

I’m still working on Christmas orders, but everything will be finished and ready by Christmas Eve, as promised. 🎄✨

So many have asked! How do you say it? What does it mean?? What’s the story behind the name? So… here’s the story!

💙Lyricxn, pronounced Lyric-sen, is our oldest son’s name. When we started he was my biggest inspiration and the whole purpose of doing more for my family.

🐾LaRue is the name of our stinky, loving family dog, who’s never far away when I’m painting. So, when it came time to name my art page, I wanted something that felt personal and meaningful. I wanted a name that reflects the love and creativity that go into every piece I paint.

Lyricxn LaRue is more than just a name, it’s a little bit of our family, my heart, and my passion all rolled into one.
