Our work is global, but our mission is intimate: through our art, we tell the stories of the guiding lights that we meet, so that those feeling lost in the ocean of life might find their way home to themselves.

The next seven people to wish upon a crane will be the ones who sit with us in one of our favourite places, as we continue to bring this project to life here in Santa Monica.

Choose your colour. Name your crane. Make your wish.

Sometimes the smallest spark becomes the beginning of something much larger ✨

For us, one of those sparks was Lisa Olson at Practical Art in

For years, she’d asked 𝚂𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚗𝚘𝚗 𝙰𝚕𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎 𝙺𝚛𝚘𝚕 to make a stained glass crane. Then one day, Shannon finally sat down in the studio and made one.

That first crane opened a door. Then it became thirteen cranes, hanging together at Practical Art. Seeing them all in the space became kindling for the larger vision to take shape: A Thousand Wishing Cranes.

It’s a beautiful reminder that the quiet sparks all around us can begin to propel us toward our wildest dreams.

When the installation’s journey is complete, your crane returns home to you, carrying your wish and the energy of a global community’s hopes and dreams ✨

WE’RE AN ARTPRIZE ARIZONA FINALIST! 🥹✨

We were selected as one of the Top 5 finalists for ArtPrize Arizona Pitch Night, in partnership with ArtWins Arizona.

On Tuesday, we’ll pitch A Thousand Wishing Cranes for a chance to win a $10,000 grant to showcase the work at the international ArtPrize festival in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This project has always been about community. We are simply the hands that make the cranes. The real energy of this project comes from the wishes carried by the people behind them.

If you’ve been part of this journey in any way, whether you’ve contributed a crane, shared a wish, offered your time, energy, space, introductions, encouragement, or simply believed in what this project could become, we’d love to have you in the room.

Come help us send 1,000 little glass wishes into the sky ✨

It’s been incredible to witness the magik already unfolding around this installation.

Wishes are beginning to arrive from all corners of the world, each one a thread of light in a growing global tapestry.

We’re continuing the journey of inviting 1,000 people to be part of this:
✨ To name a crane.
🕊️ To offer a wish.
🕸️ To feel connected to something far greater than any of us alone.

If our paths have ever crossed, and something in this resonates with you, it would mean the world if you helped us share it.

Because the true magik of this project lives in the ripple.

In the way a single story, shared from the heart,
can light a spark in someone else’s sky.

Become one of the 1000 today.
