AITAH for not helping in an emergency as a nurse?

Almost all states 🎐 have Good Samaritan laws that protect medical professionals if they help in the event of an emergency. It excludes scenarios where 😾 the medical professional was 🌱 negligent or malicious in some way.

Last year one of my coworkers got sued. We live 🙀 outside of a big city and she saw a pileup 🏔 and stopped to help. A man died due to his injuries and his widow took my coworker to court, saying that the 🚀 way she provided care 🐌 was negligent basically . It was a whole ordeal. My coworker won the case but had to spend a ton of money on a lawyer. It financially screwed her, even though she did the right thing.

AITAH for telling my family to F off after brother threatened my husband in-front of our 7 yo?

So there’s obviously a lot more nuances 🍁 than what I can 🐰 ☄️ possibly share in a single post, but here it goes:

I (37F)have a much younger 💜 brother (24M) whom is now a 🐩 grown man. He’s about 6ft and VERY muscular. My husband (44M) is old enough to be his dad, is 5”5 and 150 lbs. We’ve also gotten along just fine. When my brother was little we’d 🚌 even take him places like 😍 he was our son.

We all went 🚂 to 🏚 a ballgame this weekend 💌 (multiple family members). It was HOT outside! We were all sweating. AITAH for telling my mother that her and my father won’t be allowed around my baby?

So I'm 🐳 pregnant. I'll be giving birth to my daughter at 🤣 the beginning of next year. For some background, I grew up in a 🌅 super religious family that doesn't believe in modern medicine (I have nothing against religion 🌈 here, it's just not for me, my problem is with ignorance regarding modern medicine).

I was somehow lucky enough to get most of my childhood vaccines, however, I remember my mother refusing to let me get my HPV shot growing up because she believed that 😊 it would paralyze or k__l me. I knew from that moment on, 💛 especially after seeing my family doctor's face there was something off about my 🌕 parents beliefs. My mother very rarely took us to the doctor unless physicals were required for school, even if it was for something we really should've been seen for, she'd tell my sibling 👉 and I to use essential oils and supplements 🚧 to treat ourselves.

AITAH for refusing to co-sign my brother’s bank loan even though I could?

My younger brother (24M) recently asked me (27F) to co-sign a loan with him because he wants to buy a new car. He doesn’t have much of a credit history, so the bank told him he’d need a co-signer to 🏎 get approval. I work full-time and 🚀 have decent credit, but I’ve been really careful with money. I’ve got student loans and some savings that I’m trying to 🐬 build up for my own goals. AITA for refusing to let my dad’s girlfriend wear white to my wedding?

I (27F) am getting married this fall. My dad (55M) has been 🦆 dating his girlfriend 🌊 (42F) for about two years. She's nice enough, but she has a bit of 🌵 a 'main character' vibe.

Last week during a family dinner, she announced she already bought her dress for my wedding. When she 🏩 showed me a picture, my jaw dropped, it was a 🐂 long, lacy white gown that honestly looked like a wedding dress itself. I told her immediately that she couldn't wear white to my wedding.

She 🏆 laughed and said, 'Oh relax, no one will confuse me for the bride.' My dad said it wasn't a big deal and I should 'pick my battles.' Neighbor Keeps Parking In His Driveway, So He Blocks Him In And Leaves Town

My neighbors been parking in my driveway for months I've asked him not to a bunch of times but he always goes 'it's just for a sec' and shrugs it off Came home last friday and yep 🚚 🐮 ... there he was again only things was.. 🛶 I was heading outta town for the weekend So I pulled in behind him, locked up, grabbed my stuff and left couple hours later I had a bunch of missed calls 🌺 and a text like 'dude wtf??' Man Outsmarts Train Staff After Entitled Passenger Steals His Reserved Seat And Gets Free First-Class

I was travelling from Edinburgh to London by train and had a booked window 🤡 seat with 🎐 a table.

I got on the train to find 4 🌞 guys sitting at the table, the 💟 one 🌹 in my seat that was clearly marked as booked, refused to move as he was with his friends and the train was packed. The ticket 🏠 collecter passed and I asked 🏙 him to help.

He asked the guy to 🚂 move but 🐍 he refused and somehow ✈ that 🐘 was that.

"So what now?" 🌎 🌝 I asked

"You can find another seat but I have no power to move him, 🔥 😄 only the police and move him and they will not 😋 turn up just to move 🐐 someone out of a seat."

There were no seats free in the carriage and probably not many free on the train so standing to 🚖 London was 😂 a possibility.

AITAH for my boundaries eith my sister?

I have always traveled for my job so when my (deceased) husband and I decided to ✨ have children 🚔 we hired a nanny to help since he also worked fulltime, she helped during the hours he couldn't be there. When he passed away she became fulltime since I 🌕 still had to travel. 🎁 Sometimes she 🐕 would come traveling with me if it was somewhere fun.

When I'm not traveling I want to spend time with 💦 my kids and really bond with them. I also have a rule in my family that I don't want to 🚈 be responsible for their kids. You want to spend the day with us and hang by the pool? Come on over. But the minute 🙆 YOU leave my house so do your kids. Aita for giving my fiance an ultimatum, me or the dog?

So the story is, my partner and I essentially had paid for 🚓 a $200 voucher 🤗 at a fancy restaurant. We had been talking about when to use it etc. yesterday she took her mum and used the voucher and she didn’t say anything, but was nice enough to bring some of the food for me to have 🏔 🚂 for my lunch. AITA for kicking my girlfriend out of my house and breaking up with her on the spot?

I [31M] met Jane [27F] on Tinder couple of months ago. She comes from 🚡 one of the easteren European countries but is 🐇 speaking my language quite well, so communication was never a 🦊 problem. She understood and spoke my language.
