HAPPY JOHN DAY!!! 🦌🦌
We recommend everyone celebrate by making an artistic choice so bold, so loud, so undeniably brilliant that you didn’t even think about it first. That’s what it’s like getting to work with John every day. He is the true embodiment of THE LEAP- famously writing Exo a letter expressing his desire to work with us, then MOVING to Santa Fe before we had ever even met! It took mere seconds after meeting him for us to realize what absolute gold had stumbled into our lives.
You may recognize him from his tour-de-force performance as Z in this year’s IVANOV, taking on a role as old as the ensemble itself & transforming it into a fresh, blistering beam of magma, devouring everything in his path with fiery Southern sugar. Or maybe you got to see him as Brett, his original creation that brings to life every high school nightmare: the bully, rendered with equal parts tenderness & unabashed f**kery.
Whether he’s blazing our “stages” with audacity & truth, showcasing his brilliant carpentry while building our sets, or simply livening the mood with an infamous John stand-up routine, the ensemble is forever grateful this Minnesota diamond showed up in our desert sandbox.
