Music Lives Through Us: Our Story

Must Have Media intends to serve as a platform for promoting arts and entertainment media of all kinds - news, reviews videos and photos - from a variety of sources and personnel. MHM will coordinate events, interviews and in-depth coverage updates from across the CONUS regions' independent and touring artists with a history of coverage from Michigan, Colorado, Nevada and California on behalf of various publications, venues and most importantly, the direct feedback of the artists and musicians themselves. Music lives through us.

What started as a supreme curiosity early in life, our founder, Joshua Huver, has had a hand in journalism and communication media since 2005, eventually leading to a minor in photojournalism from the esteemed communications department of Central Michigan University.

After a stroke of chance allowed for Joshua to photograph his favorite band at the peak of a music festival that they help operate, he never looked back. Diving into the world of music journalism, it was only seven short months later that he relocated from the Midwest to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Must Have Media continues to be operated solely by Joshua out of Santa Cruz.
