So- I got rejected (well, waitlisted) from the art & science program I have been waiting to hear from since February. It sucks. A lot. But- I’m still here making art and finding new ways to explore and meld the mediums I love, to create pieces like this one.

A custom piece done for a lovely human made with: wood paneling, concrete, mica powders, resin, dried algae, acrylic, aluminum wire, foam board, and some hidden fixes that make this piece one of my favorites.

Modeled after a self shot sh***ri photo from a self suspension and made with love, here is Kailani🌺

Spending a lot of time lately studying the textures of black rock oceans and trying new mediums to capture the true beauty of these magical places. Dare I say- I think I got it🗾
Large mixed media wood panel sculpture. Shimmering turquoise and blue iridescent micas contrasted by matte black sculpted black rock islands. Resin ocean waves lapping up on the rocky shores, with beautiful white layered lacing.
