.
Five months into this chapter, I’ve realized the biggest thing I’ve built isn’t the studio.
It’s my life.
God has been at the center of that.
A little over a year ago, I made a decision to get sober, and since then my priorities have become clearer than they’ve ever been.
My relationship with God.
My children.
Being present in their lives and involved in their school.
Taking care of myself.
My work.
And building something they can watch me be proud of.
Opening Behind The Coffin Tattoos was a huge goal of mine, but what means the most is knowing I’m doing it with a clear mind and with purpose behind me.
These first five months have shown me how much support surrounds me.
To Santa Clarita and this community — thank you for welcoming me, trusting me, recommending me, booking with me, sharing my work and helping this studio grow.
Every appointment, every referral, every conversation and every person who walks through that door matters to me.
I’m grateful for the business, but I’m even more grateful for the man and father I’m becoming along the way.
There’s still a lot ahead of me.
I’m going to keep showing up for my kids.
Keep showing up for my purpose.
Keep building.
Keep growing.
And keep putting God first through all of it.
Thank you, God, for where You’ve brought me — and for everything still ahead. 🖤
