Santa Barbara Festival Ballet Our dedicated faculty offer superior training and an individualized approach to nurturing unique and confident dancers. Enrollment begins for children 3+.

We continue to honor our strong roots in the community each year by presenting our cherished Nutcracker at the historic Arlington Theatre. We combine a rigorous training program for students of all ages and abilities in a nurturing, educational environment along with opportunities for performance from beginner to pre-professional. Advanced-level dancers not only perform in our annual Nutcracker at the Arlington Theatre with a live symphony, but also adjudicate choreography and attend the annual The Ballet Alliance conference. At the TBA Conference, company members participate with dancers from over 20 similar pre-professional companies, training with master teachers and performing for and attending performances by their peers. The spectacular sets, live symphony orchestra, and remarkable performances work to remind us that a little courage, and a lot of imagination, can create worlds beyond our own. In this world, swirling snowflakes, little toy soldiers, and a kingdom of magical sweets come to life and applaud the dreams of a young girl!

📣 NEW OPEN CLASSES! We are excited to announce two new offerings in our OPEN CLASS program for teens and adults!

💪 CONDITIONING is designed to improve alignment, balance, and core stability. Through exercises that draw from pilates, yoga, and Progressive Ballet Technique, this class is designed for dancers of varying skill levels. The class is ideal for any mover looking to build a stronger foundation by targeting the muscles required for strong posture, turns, and jumps.
🗓 MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS - 5pm to 6pm w/ Lena Alvarez

✨CONTEMPORARY invites dancers of all backgrounds to explore expressive movement by blending the foundational technique of classical ballet with elements of modern dance. This class blends lyrical, athletic, and abstract movement. Dancers will perform new choreo at SBFB's Spring Experience in May!
