Sorry to hear of the passing of Walt Parazaider. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who loved him.
Chicago gave me my very first professional touring gig, and I'll always be grateful for that experience. It was just so incredible to listen to those songs night after night.
Rest in peace, Walt, and thank you for the music. ❤️🎶 https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10151157148452356&set=a.10151157148372356
In 1987, the band Chicago gave me my first touring gig as an offstage keyboardist and MIDI technician. One girl, eighteen guys! First show? The Budokan in Tokyo (no rehearsal). For two years I toured and recorded with the band. This experience was the beginning of my amazing career as a keyboardist/vocalist. Later, I would join solo tours (onstage) with both Peter Cetera and Bill Champlin. It was rock 'n roll boot camp at it's finest. Two and a half decades later I'm happy to say "Congratulations Boys" for your induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's about time. Thank you for the stellar memories! xoxo. with Jason Scheff and Walt Parazaider.
