September is right around the corner and chilly weather means it's time for WARM beverages.
What's your GO-TO drink to ward off those chilly fall nights: Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider? Or do you have something different?
FROM KERI (Powertex social media manager) - Our Family Has a tradition of making what we call "Naughty Cider" at Fall/Christmas gatherings!
Ingredients:
🍎1 Gallon Apple Cider
🍎3-4 Bengal Spice Tea Bags from
🍎Red Hots Candy
🍎Butterscotch Discs Candy
🍎Hot Damn Cinnamon and/or Butterscotch Schnapps from
Steps:
1) Add the whole gallon of cider and tea bags to a crock pot and heat on high for 2-3 hours (you can also use a large pot on the stove if you are short on time, but steeping the tea bags longer is always better!)
2) When ready to drink, use a ladel to pour the hot cider into a coffee cup and allow each person to personalize to their taste!
Red Hots & Butterscotch Discs are a perfect way to add flavor for your underage guests or those who prefer alcohol free.
Allow your guests to mix and match their Hot Damn and Butterscotch Schnapps to make their favorite flavor combinations!
Enjoy!!!
