Doing an early morning check before heading into my new job! While I build the business, bills still need to get paid, so im happily working a job and growing Reef Wizard Farms as much as possible everyday. That means getting up early to check on my livestock and enjoy seeing Reginald before heading out for the day.

What us your favorite animal in your tank to check on each day? I've got a lot to check, but i always enjoy seeing this wee little crab

Just got out of a great meeting and lwcture with pnwmas and Richard Ross! Was great to learn about coral spawning and to dive into Richard's phenomenal work on the subject!

The acros are opening up and totally happy in this tank! I think i finally understand the hype around acros. Getting some nice ones in is great!

Doing a little maintenance on the farm today, working out of the pnw custom 4 gallon lagoon. This is a great micro tank , and fairly easy to run, even with some lps corals. I manually dose daily and it doesnt take much to keep stable at 8 with water changes and the current corals.

You can find these cool tanks at PNW Custom 's website! Ive thrown in a few of my favorite little corals! Now for a couple of small hermit crabs, and maybe even a little goby! If youre a micro tank freak like me (I have 6) than youre gonna love this little tank. Give me a follow to see updates on this tank as it grows and transforms!

I dont just have a coral garden, i have a terraced backyard garden, but it is basically a jungle right now. I tried to clear up some blackberry bushes in the cooler evening and apparently stepped right onto a ground hornets nest. Still in a little discomfort, but it could have been worse haha! Very minor swelling and no oyher symptoms, but still feel like im being poked and prodded in my ankle. Yay! 😅🤣

I want to give a huge shout out to all of the local fish stores and people in the portland area who have helped me turn my business dream into reality. The wealth of knowledge and positivity shared by them is the reason I can do what I do. Every step along the way I have been surprised with the help they've provided, and I really wouldn't be able to do this without each one of you who have helped me grow in this industry along the way. If you're one of those people, you know who you are.

Im very grateful to be involved in local community that has been so kind and so helpful. Words arent a good enough gesture, but I would be remiss not to say something about the helpful friends and colleagues who have offered me a hand up while I get back on track after losing my career.
