Complimenting your Madewell bag and becoming your partner for a whole semester in the fall of 2015 was (and still is) one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. - Arabela 💖
Weekend Creative was born in 2017 from a shared interest of creating for ourselves and having (a lot of) fun while doing it. What unfolded over the next nine years was more than we ever could have imagined. 🥹
Somehow, that little idea grew into photo studios (Little Sunday Studio), workshops, educational content, a podcast (hi Per Our Last Email Podcast), creative communities, incredible client work, travels, collaborations, and friendships we’ll carry with us for the rest of our lives. It’s impossible to capture everything this chapter has given us, but what we’ll remember most are the people. ✨
To every client who trusted us with your stories, every creative who showed up alongside us, every collaborator, sponsor, student, and friend—thank you. Because of you, we got to spend nearly a decade doing what we love.
So, with full hearts and a bittersweet feeling, we’re sharing that Weekend Creative is coming to a close as we step into new chapters of our lives—Elle into motherhood 😍 and Arabela into a new season as a solo creative/artist.
Elle, there is truly no one else I could have imagined building a creative business with throughout my twenties. Thank you for every idea, every risk, every laugh, every late night, every hard conversation, and every unforgettable memory. What we built together will always be one of the things I’m most proud of. 🥲
And to everyone who has followed along, hired us, learned from us, cheered us on, or simply been here over the years—thank you for letting us be unapologetically creative and authentically ourselves. We hope we left this little corner of the industry a little brighter (and more colorful) than we found it.
